How I designed and built clarelangley.com — my own personal site for service transformation, customer experience leadership and speaking work.

Context

An evidence-first personal site, not a polished biography.

Clare Langley needed to communicate work across service transformation, customer experience, automation and operational leadership without becoming a polished biography built on broad claims.

The problem

Buyers needed proof, not a personal brand.

Employers and consultancy buyers needed concrete evidence of how problems were diagnosed, what changed and which capability was most relevant to their situation.

clarelangley.com pages laid out around a laptop: home, about, career, connect and briefings

Thinking

Put evidence before the biography.

Key decision

Put evidence and working tools before the biography.

Why it matters

Decision-makers can assess capability through useful proof rather than relying on unsupported personal-brand claims.

Design

Structured around evidence, not adjectives.

I built the experience around evidence: case studies explain the work, briefings show current thinking, and practical tools let visitors apply that thinking to their own organisation.

Outcome

A personal site that does the arguing for itself.

Case studies, briefings and practical tools now do the work a personal biography used to attempt on its own.

Mockups are illustrative: the designs are real, the scenes around them are staged.
